On the afternoon of December 10, the university held an online cooperation seminar and signing ceremony with Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas in the International Conference Hall of the University Students' Activity Center. Rector Qian Jianhua, Vice Rector Yang Zhanxu, and representatives from Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas (including Vice Rector Alexander Fedorovich Maximenko) attended the ceremony.
Both sides discussed cooperation in teaching and research, faculty and student exchanges, joint talent cultivation, and joint laboratories, and signed a Memorandum of Understanding.
The signing marked the official launch of cooperation between the two universities in the fields of petrochemical engineering and natural gas.
