Huo Qingsheng

       Huo Qingsheng, male, born in July 1976, is a member of the Communist Party of China (CPC) with a postgraduate education and a doctoral degree.

       He started work in July 2001 and has held positions including Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Committee, Director of the Organization Department, and Executive Vice President of the Party School of Shenyang Aerospace University; Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Committee, Secretary of the Disciplinary Inspection Commission of Liaoning Petrochemical University, and Ombudsman of the Liaoning Provincial Supervisory Commission stationed at Liaoning Petrochemical University; Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Liaoyang Municipal Committee, Director of the United Front Work Department, and Secretary-General of the Liaoyang Municipal Committee; and Vice Minister of the Organization Department of the CPC Liaoning Provincial Committee and Deputy Director of the Talent Work Office of the Liaoning Provincial Committee.

Liu Jian

      Liu Jian, born in July 1974, is a member of the Communist Party of China (CPC), a Level-2 Professor, doctoral supervisor at China University of Petroleum (Beijing), a national-level leading talent, and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry (UK). He also serves as Deputy Director of the Professional Committee on Rare Earth Catalysis and Processes of the Chinese Chemical Society, an expert for the Ministry of Education’s Discipline Evaluation, a review expert for national key R&D programs, and a review expert for the Chemical Sciences Department of the National Natural Science Foundation of China.

      His main research focuses on teaching and scientific research in industrial catalysis and petrochemical engineering, with breakthrough progress in the fields of catalytic purification of PM2.5 particulate pollutants and NOx, catalytic dehydrogenation of alkanes, and research on 3DOM catalytic materials. He has published over 200 SCI-indexed papers in journals such as AIChE Journal and Angewandte Chemie, with more than 10,000 citations. He has presided over more than 20 projects, including key and general projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China and key R&D projects of the Ministry of Science and Technology, and has obtained more than 30 authorized Chinese invention patents.

      His honors include one Second Prize of National Teaching Achievements, one First Prize of Basic Research Achievements of the Chinese Chemical Society, one First Prize of Science and Technology of the Chinese Society of Rare Earths, one Second Prize of Beijing Natural Science, the Outstanding Contribution Award for Youth Science and Technology and the Technology Invention Award of the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation, the China Industry-University-Research Cooperation Innovation Award, the support from the Ministry of Education’s Program for New Century Excellent Talents in University, and the nomination for National Hundred Excellent Doctoral Dissertations.
