From August 25 to 27, to expand international cooperation and support the cultivation of international talents for the Belt and Road Initiative, Chancellor Guo Changyi led a delegation to visit Karaganda Buketov University and Almaty University of Technology in Kazakhstan.
On August 26, the delegation signed a cooperation framework agreement with Karaganda Buketov University, agreeing on faculty and student exchanges, joint construction of a coal chemical research laboratory, and joint scientific research projects.
On August 27, the delegation reached an intention on a "2+2" cooperative education program with Almaty University of Technology and signed a cooperation intention memorandum.
