On July 30, a delegation including Maximov Anton (Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Director of the Institute of Petrochemical Synthesis of the Russian Academy of Sciences), Zhagfarov Fredaves (Academician of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, Director of the Gas Chemistry Department of Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas), and Dementev Konstantin (Deputy Director of the Institute of Petrochemical Synthesis of the Russian Academy of Sciences) visited the university.
Rector Qian Jianhua and Vice Rectors Sun Tie, Cao Jiangtao, and Yang Zhanxu received the delegation. Both sides discussed deepening cooperation in international projects, national key project applications, high-end talent introduction, and high-end forums. The delegation visited the Liaoning Petrochemical Industry Technology Innovation Research Institute, Liaoning Key Laboratory of Petrochemical Catalysis Science and Technology, and the Petrochemical Industry Chain Training Base.
In the afternoon, the delegation visited PetroChina Fushun Petrochemical Company to explore industry-university-research cooperation.
