From June 14 to 16, Rector Qian Jianhua (LNPU) led a delegation to visit Ufa State Petroleum Technological University (USPTU) in Russia at the latter’s invitation.
The delegation was warmly received by USPTU Rector Oleg Baulin and Vice Rector Moguchev Alexander Ivanovich. The two sides held in-depth talks on deepening inter-university cooperation. They reached key consensuses and signed a cooperation memorandum, covering LNPU students’ master’s programs at USPTU, joint postgraduate program applications, strengthened petroleum and chemical engineering collaboration, a joint new chemical materials laboratory, LNPU faculty’s doctoral studies at USPTU, and undergraduate exchanges.
During the visit, Qian met four LNPU students (majoring in Electrical Engineering and Automation) studying at USPTU, encouraging them to pursue academic goals and contribute to China-Russia exchanges.
