On June 13, to respond to the Belt and Road Initiative and implement the outcomes of the China-Central Asia Summit, Rector Qian Jianhua led a delegation to visit the Samarkand Branch of Tashkent State University of Economics (Uzbekistan).
Both sides introduced their respective school conditions, conducted in-depth discussions on cooperative education, student exchanges, faculty visits, and scientific research cooperation, and signed a cooperation memorandum.
The delegation also visited the branch's teaching, research, and living facilities. Tashkent State University of Economics ranks among the top 5 comprehensive universities in Uzbekistan and first in economic universities.
