On June 11, a four-member delegation led by Prof. Vincent Lee Chieng Chen , Vice-Chancellor and CEO of Curtin University Malaysia, visited Liaoning Petrochemical University. Vice President Wang Jilin met with the delegation. The two sides exchanged views on deepening international cooperation, accelerating joint initiatives in petrochemical engineering, new energy and other fields. Heads from International Office, School of Petrochemical Engineering and School of New Energy and New Materials attended the meeting.
At the meeting, the two parties reached consensus on such matters as inter-university exchanges, joint training programs, collaborative academic research and innovation, and the joint development of practice platforms. Both sides also agreed to set up a routine communication channel to regularly track the advancement of cooperation projects and guarantee the steady rollout of all cooperative programs.
