On June 11, a delegation led by Professor Sarah Williams, Vice Chancellor of Buckinghamshire New University, UK, visited Liaoning Petrochemical University. President Liu Jian met with the delegation. The two sides held in-depth consultations on core issues including inter-university cooperative education, joint talent training and interdisciplinary co-construction, reached extensive consensus on cooperation, and signed a cooperation agreement. Vice President Wang Jilin presided over the signing ceremony. Heads of the School of International Education (International Office), School of Economics and Management, and School of Aesthetic Education and Design attended the event.
Following the discussion, the inter-university cooperation signing ceremony was officially held under the chairmanship of Vice President Wang Jilin. The two institutions signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on inter-university cooperation. Witnessed by all members of both delegations, the partnership between the two universities officially entered a stage of substantive implementation.
