On the afternoon of October 23, Liaoning Petrochemical University and Ufa State Petroleum Technological University of Russia held an online signing and unveiling ceremony for the "Joint International Laboratory for New Chemical Materials". Rector Qian Jianhua, Vice Rector Cao Jiangtao, and representatives from Ufa State Petroleum Technological University (including Rector Oleg Baulin) attended the ceremony.
Both sides signed a cooperation agreement and unveiled the laboratory (approved by the Russian Ministry of Education). Rector Qian Jianhua stated that the laboratory would integrate advantageous resources to achieve breakthroughs in chemical new materials and cultivate high-level talents with international perspectives.
