From November 6th to 10th, the delegation led by Party Secretary Guo Changyi, were invited to pay a three-day visit to the universities in New Zealand, who were warmly welcomed by Professor Johanathan, Pro Vice-Chancellor Massey Business School at Massey University, and Professor Jeffery, Director of the International Office. The two sides had a further communication on the 2+2 program and clarified the next steps of cooperation. In the interaction with Richard Smith, CEO of Auckland Institute of Studies, Lehan Stemmet, President, and Jaimin Patel, Head of International Affairs, the two sides had a wide exchange of cooperation, discussing the implementation details of joint training programs of undergraduates and postgraduates as well as overseas training for young faculty members. After the symposium, the two schools signed a memorandum of intent, laying a good foundation for further international exchange and cooperation.

This visit is a milestone in the cooperation between LNPU and universities in New Zealand. On the basis of expanding the scope of collegiate communication for teachers and students in the traditional engineering majors, it has started the cooperation programs in English speaking countries for the exchange and cooperation of the faculty and students in the field of arts such as economics, management and literature to ensure a specific international exchange program for every college.
