On October 24-25, President Qian Jianhua and his delegation, invited by the University of Edinburgh, visited their School of Engineering. Stephen Warrington, Dean of International Affairs, and Francesca Cotes, Head of International Recruitment and Cooperation Projects, representing Edinburgh's President Peter Mathieson, met with our delegation. Discussions centered on international education projects, joint postgraduate training programs, the introduction of outstanding overseas talents, and scientific research cooperation. This meeting laid a solid foundation for further deepening comprehensive educational and scientific research cooperation and building a strategic partnership in the new era. Professors Fan Xianfeng and Chen Xianfeng, Directors of the Chemical Engineering Research Center and the Industrial Integration Center of Edinburgh University, attended the meeting, introducing their research in chemical engineering, new chemical materials, bioengineering, and mechanical engineering.
